6:30 p.m.: Annual Chamber Of Commerce Banquet
Featuring award of Citizen of the Year honors, and crowning of the 2008 Carrot Festival Queen, Princess and Junior Princess.
6:30 - 7:00 p.m.: No-Host Cocktails.
7:00 - 8:00 p.m.: Dinner.
8:00 - 9:00 p.m.: Ceremonies. At Barbara Worth Resort.
Tickets are $25.00 per person.
 

Saturday, February 2
8:00 a.m.: Carrot Festival Golf Tournament
Players check in at 7:00 a.m. and tee off starting at 8:00 a.m. at the Barbara Worth Golf Resort. Entry fee per person: $100.00. Entry fee includes green fees, a cart, golf shirt, lunch and tee prizes. Lunch will be served on the
Barbara Worth Resort Patio.

Sunday, February 3
11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.: Rotary “No Bones About It” Barbeque.
Civic Center in Holt Park. Drive through or eat there.

Monday, February 4
5:00 p.m.: Carrot Festival Cookery Contest
Little Chef’s Division. Youngsters are invited to try their hand at cooking with carrots. At the Civic Center. Cooking Contest sponsored by Soroptimist Club.
6:00 p.m.: Carrot Festival Cookery Contest
Middle School and High School Divisions. At the Civic Center.

Tuesday, February 5
6:00 p.m.: Carrot Festival Cookery Contest
Adult Salad and Vegetable Division, and Adult Main
Dish Division. At the Civic Center.

Wednesday, February 6
3:00 p.m.: Carrot Festival Cookery Contest
Seniors/Snowbirds Division. At the Civic Center.

Registration: 6:30 a.m. in front of Parkers Pharmacy. Cost: $15.00. Sponsored by the Viking Cross-Country Club & Holtville Chamber of Commerce.
9:00 a.m. till dusk: Arts and Crafts Fair
Craft, food and other booths in Holt Park.
10:00 a.m.: Carrot Festival Parade
Featuring school children, bands, floats, antique cars and tractors, equestrians, Citizen of the Year, 2007 Festival Queen, Princess, Junior Princess and runner-ups . The route is west on Fifth Street from Maple to Cedar.
11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.: Student Art Show
Open during the day at the Civic Center.
1:00 (approximate): Trophy Presentation
Parade honors awarded at Gazebo in Holt Park.
12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m.: Antique Tractor and Car Show
Classic cars and antique tractors on display on Holt Street.
12:00 noon to 11:00 p.m.: Carrot Festival Midway Carnival on Pine & 6th St.
1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.: Entertainment in the Gazebo.

Sunday, February 10
9:00 a.m. till dusk: Arts and Crafts Fair
Arts & Craft booths in Holt Park & Pine Ave.
10:00 am to 2:00 pm: “Dia De La Familia”(Day of the Family) COOK-OFF, Holt Park. Food Theme: Our Family’s Traditional Dish, Side Dishes too. $25.00 Entry Fee per Family Team; $1000.00 prize for 1st place, second and third places will also receive monetary awards; Additional
